Well as for me I voted Ron cause even though he seems a lot like I was as a kid. Foxpup When you were a kid, Foxpup? How old are you, if I may ask? And it's cool to have a Canadian member! We have an interesting assortment of members here, huh?

Darth sharrakor- 08-15-2006

yup. A Canadian, two kids from SoCal, two English guys, someone from Texas, someone from Virginia, and other people I have no clue where they're from, and Berethor.

yup. A Canadian, two kids from SoCal, two English guys, someone from Texas, someone from Virginia, and other people I have no clue where they're from, and Berethor. I think Foxpup is the Canadian, you and JC are from Southern Cal, Neeco and Vishnu are from the UK, and I am assuming that means England (rather than Wales, Scotland, or Ireland), Ummm...You know I am from the great state of Texas, Isn't TIS from Virginia and Berethor from Illinois? I am trying to remember if Miss Granger or Phoebe told us where they are from. I need to go back to Introductions and Profiles to look 'em up. Where is Eragon from? He made it sound like HE is on the west coast, too, right? I'd love it if everyone put the general vicinity of where they are from under their avvy, like some of us have done. I look at it often, and it helps. ~*~

Darth sharrakor- 08-15-2006

hmmm...sounds good to me. I'll send a mass PM to everyone that would apply to.

Lady Sugah Sim- 08-15-2006

hmmm...sounds good to me. I'll send a mass PM to everyone that would apply to. What a help that would be, S. A lot of times, I look over to see WHERE our fellow Fundoggers are from, just so I can calculate what time it is where they are (2am or 5pm, eg). Plus it is just cool to know how diversified this Hogwarts gang is. Thanks for sending the PM out suggesting it. I still haven't looked up if Eragon, Phoebe or Miss Granger have posted WHERE they are from. Gonna get some lunch, then do that. Oh, and everyone loves the idea of you putting who belongs in which house in the portal. Cool deal!! It will help us all as a quick reference guide.

Darth sharrakor- 08-15-2006

A couple people have put their locations in already. And I'm sorry that I haven't yet put up everyone's houses yet but I've been a busy person as of late.

A couple people have put their locations in already. And I'm sorry that I haven't yet put up everyone's houses yet but I've been a busy person as of late. I noticed that. Good deal. I think Neeco was the one who already added England to his. And as I posted elsewhere, I learned that Eragon IS just above you So. Cal boys in Oregon. Don't have a clue where our other female Fundoggers are from. I know you have been very busy, S. No worries about putting up everyone's houses on the portal. I found Miss Granger's helpful post about it, and have been referring to that for now! I am also going to make a Fundog notebook to log info and keep track of games/competitions. I have a Sims notebook, too.

Neeco- 08-15-2006

Fundog notebook? sounds like a good idea to me.

Lady Sugah Sim- 08-15-2006

Fundog notebook? sounds like a good idea to me. Thanks, Neeco. I found that with my own Sims game, the PTS forum (which I help moderate), and all the things I create for the Sims, I needed a way to document what I needed and wanted to do and accomplish. Somedays I would have so much on my plate, I'd have tons of notes, but they were a great (and still are) reference point. I was thinking, for Fundog, if there are going to be certain DATES, for example, here, that I don't want to forget (like the first of the month pop quizzes), I need to document that in my notebook. I have also printed out some HP stuff from Wikipedia on The Sorting Hat and the different houses, plus some general HP info I can look at to answer questions. If there are certain rules to certain games, I will probably write THOSE down, too, so I don't do anything stupid to get myself thrown out and LOSE points for Ravenclaw. That's the LAST thing I want to do!!!

missgranger- 08-15-2006

oh dear, that would stink. I would hate for that to happen.

Lady Sugah Sim- 08-15-2006

oh dear, that would stink. I would hate for that to happen. You and me BOTH, Honey Bunny! That's why it is always so important to me to make sure I understand the rules. It is one thing if we don't win a lot of points for our house. It is another thing, if we LOSE points for our house. I would HATE to be the one to do that!!! :(

phoebe- 08-15-2006

yeah that suck big time. That's why sometimes I'm hesitant to do things, cuz I'm afraid of messing up and losing points.

Lady Sugah Sim- 08-15-2006

>yeah that suck big time. That's why sometimes I'm hesitant to do things, cuz I'm afraid of messing up and losing points. Agreed, Phoebe!!! I know the feelin'!!! :?
